Nurturing Your Health and Wellness
What is Naturopathic Medicine?
Naturopathic medicine is a field of health care that addresses patient wellness through health promotion, disease prevention, and management of underlying causes of a patient’s health concern. Naturopathic Doctors provide individualized, evidence-informed care in order to support the body’s innate ability to heal and maintain optimal health. Please visit the AANMC website for more information.
Principles of Naturopathic Medicine
1 ) First do no harm
2 ) Harness the healing power of nature
This is done by supporting the body's innate healing processes and managing obstacles to cure.
3 ) Identify & treat the root causes of disease
4 ) Doctor as teacher
Naturopathic Doctors take time to educate and empower patients on ways to best sustain their health and wellness.
5 ) Treat the whole
Every individual is an integrated system with many factors that play into their overall health.
6 ) Practice preventative medicine
"An ounce of prevention saves a pound of cure" - Benjamin Franklin
How are Naturopathic Doctors trained?
Licensed or registered Naturopathic Doctors (ND) have completed a four-year, nationally accredited naturopathic doctoral program that incorporates both clinical and didactic training in biomedical sciences, lifestyle counseling, nutrition, botanical medicine, and pharmacology. To ensure a graduate has met standard professional qualifications for practice, all NDs must pass a series of board examinations administered by the North American Board of Naturopathic Examiners (NPLEX 1 & NPLEX 2). At this time, Naturopathic Doctors are unable to prescribe pharmaceuticals in the state of Minnesota.

For more information on required hours of training, areas of study, and curricula comparison with other health care professions please visit the AANMC website.

How do I start working with Dr. Aidanne?
Welcome! To start your journey in working together, you’ll first need to schedule a complimentary 10‑minute discovery call. This call is meant as an introduction, where Dr. Aidanne will share how naturopathic medicine may support your concerns and determine if her approach is the right fit to address your needs. This brief call is requested prior to booking an initial consultation and does not include personalized health advice.
If you decide to move forward, the initial visit (virtual or in person, up to 90 minutes) focuses on understanding your current health concerns, reviewing a thorough health history, performing relevant physical exams, discussing any needed lab testing, and creating an initial wellness plan. A 60‑minute follow‑up is typically scheduled 4–6 weeks later, with subsequent 30–60 minute visits as needed to review lab results, track your progress, and refine your treatment plan.
What forms of payment are accepted?
Cash, Check, & Credit Card are all acceptable forms of payment. We are also able to accept HSA & FSA payments as well. Please reach out to your HSA / FSA provider directly to ensure naturopathic services will be covered and if you will need a letter of medical necessity or superbill for reimbursement purposes.
Unfortunately, Naturopathic Doctors are not considered in-network providers in either Minnesota or Wisconsin at this time.

This estimate includes costs related to service, laboratory testing, supplement & herbal medicines, and all other anticipated fees:

You may ask your healthcare provider for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
